Home Base Transit Cases (HTCs):
The Rapid Response Vehicle will "reach back" to the customers operations center for network, telephone, VTC, and radio circuits. In the event that the existing customer command center is not capable of providing this connectivity to the Rapid Response Vehicle, an optional set of transit cases is available to "extend" these circuits to the Rapid Response Vehicle. The transit case approach permits use of this equipment at an existing facility or relocation to another location in the event of an evacuation. The transit cases can be selected to provide different functions: network, telephone, VTC, and radio. These transit cases are tailored to provide a seamless integration into the customer's existing infrastructure.
